Week 21 – Culture of our lives!!
What a week!!! It’s been a good week. I’ve learned a lot these last few weeks. I’ll start with a quick review.
We went to Jeonju and I wore (no dad, not a costume) a traiditional Korean outfit. It’s pretty normal and worn on special occasions in Korea. We learned about Culture. We make the culture of our lives!! And more importantly, the culture of our eternal families.
What culture are we creating?
We had a baptism and a friend I used to teach joined over zoom. It’s a blessing to have technology and he was able to learn what baptism even is. He thought it was really cool. The spirit is born in powerful ways when a Child of God makes a promise like that with their father in Heaven.
One of the newly reactivated members in our ward came to church and gave a message introducing himself. Then that night, his son who we lost contact with texted us back!! He has a a lot of potential and wants to get baptized he just got in a weird situation but we should be able to see him this week 🙂
I’ll finish with a quote that helped me learn about faith. I want to think of it more in the coming months.
Through your faith, Jesus Christ will increase your ability to move the mountains in your life, even though your personal challenges may loom as large as Mount Everest.
Your mountains may be loneliness, doubt, illness, or other personal problems. Your mountains will vary, and yet the answer to each of your challenges is to increase your faith…
The Savior is never closer to you than when you are facing or climbing a mountain with faith.
Think about it this week!! Love you all and see you in the next one.
